04/02/2016 Stevanato Group: Groundbreaking ceremony for the new Ompi production plant in Brazil

The construction works for the new production plant of Stevanato Group officially started today at Sete Lagoas (Minas Gerais) in Brazil, with the traditional groundbreaking ceremony, at the presence of local Authorities and company management. The Group located in Piombino Dese (Padua - Italy) is specialized in the production of glass pharamaceutical primary packaging, in the technology for the development of glass tube forming machines, visual inspection machines, assembly and packaging machines, serialization solutions.

07/10/2015 Ompi presents its Steam Sterilization process for Ompi EZ-fill Vials & Cartridges at CPhI Madrid

Ompi EZ-fill is the ready to use solution that provides clean, sterile, depyrogenated glass containers: syringes, vials, cartridges. At CPhI Madrid Ompi will present its brand new in house steam sterilization process for vials and cartridges. Andrea Zambon, Product Manager EZ-fill Vials & Cartridges, will go in the details of this new solution during the presentation “EZ-fill Nest&Tub glass containers: EtO or Steam sterilized options" at the Exhibitor Showcases - Speaker’s Corner (InnoPack 4F70), 3.30pm on October 14th.

10/02/2015 OMPI BOOSTS ITS EZ-FILL VIALS & CARTRIDGES BUSINESS - Investments planned to double production in 2016

Ompi plans to double the production capacity of the Ompi EZ-fill Vials & Cartridges in the second quarter of 2016.

Ompi EZ-fill Vials & Cartridges solution was launched in 2010 to extend the ready to be filled container range beyond prefillable syringes.

Ompi was the pioneer in the introduction of this new concept that aims to ease the business of its customers, helping them outsourcing “non-core” activities, thereby lowering time to market, increasing quality and safety, reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and providing a common filling platform.

21/03/2013 Ompi doubled the Mexican plant

Ompi doubled the size of its manufacturing plant in Mexico, Cienega de Flores in Monterrey, in the state of Nuovo Leon. The Mexican plant, opened in 2008 to serve the needs of the American market, has doubled in size thanks to an investment of around €22 million, now measuring 12,000 square metres (indoor).

19 November 2012 has seen the start of work for a new production plant in Zhangjiagang, China for the pharmaceutical packaging leader Stevanato Group, based in Piombino Dese, Padua (Italy).
